this is brendon smith, hes 17 years of age, he lives in camden, london.
the way he is dressed is pretty formal for a typical indie emo look, he is wearing a black waistcoat and a red t-shirt underneath skinny stripy trousers with a belt, on his waistcoat he has a brouch.
his hair is black and pretty long for a guy he has bangs which is a typical emo haircut.
he likes rock music and prefrebly bands such as: panic at the disco, fall out boy, escape the fate.
he buys most of songs on either itunes or hmv. He also likes to buy his clothing from places such as topman, river island men, blue and baron jon, h&m for men, holister, marks & spencers, paul and bear, abercoumbie and fitch.
i think my ideal reader of my magazine will be in the ages  of 15 - aprox 27 or more depending wether they like the typical rock bands mentioned in my magazine. i know many people who are of the older age which do listen to the typical popular rock bands such as mettalica, guns and roses, so it could be aimed at the older audience if i manage to send a message forward that my band is a classical rock band.
taking from this you can tell that my magazine is most likely to be a rock magazine but i am still thinking of doing a mixed magazine which includes hip-hop, indie, heavy metal, so on and so forth.
so the magazine could be targeted to many people such as people who like knowing about alot of different types of music, the general music papers.

1. think about what you want for the magazine?
2. Age,gender, ethnicity, social class, religion?
3. what other media products would they buy?
4. would the reader invest in other music industry such as itunes?
5. what artist would intrest the reader?
6. is the reader looking for serious music commentry, or is the reader driven by a desire for star images and celebrity lifestyle?
1. for my magazine i want to have many small images in the backgroung of the main image of a band or just the lead singer

my final contents page :)

the title on this magazine stands out alot as it has white font and a darker background, the font is very bold and writtien in block capitals.

just on top of the magazine theres a small subheading saying jimmy page at the olypics-Exclusive. just beside it has a small picture of jummy page.

the magazine also has a small little guitar pick sayign free 15 track cd. which is effective to the reader makes them want to buy it.

the image is very strong becuase you have james hetfeild posing right in the centre of the magazine
